Red Sea Global are a Saudi Arabian Organisation wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund, which seeks to innovate on business practice, development and most importantly, ethos.

The organisation, RSG, are responsible for the creation and formulation of a new regenerative tourism destination on the west coast of Saudi Arabia. This project seeks to be a feat of architecture, combining the needs of the local people, with the beautiful nature of Saudi Arabia, alongside helping the country split from it’s reliance on an oil-based economy.

The Red Sea is a 28,000-square-kilometer archipelago with more than 90 untouched islands, all of which is surrounded by the worlds most colourful, largest barrier reef. Both land and sea are a rich cultural backdrop emanating the fascinating history of the land. By 2030, the project will be home to 50 hotels, 8,000 rooms, up to 1,000 residential properties and its own international airport, securing itself as an idyllic tourist paradise.

Even with the backing of the PIF, the handling and development of giga-projects such as these are no easy feat.

At the Security Middle East Conference, we’ll be joined by Tawfeeq Alsadoon, Executive Director from RSG, who manages the various branches that make up the tourist haven, discussing both the broad strokes and finer details that businesses need to be aware of, heading into the Saudi Vision 2030.
