Steven Kenny, thought leader from Axis Communications has shared his thoughts regarding the upcoming Security Middle East Conference.

“As organizations in the Kingdom advance their digital transformation journeys, in line with Saudi Vision 2030, we are seeing an expansion in the attack surface. Couple this with the blurring of lines between IT-OT security systems and an increase in threats via supply chains and IoT vulnerabilities and it becomes clear that choosing the right security solution is no longer just about product features.”

Steven points out the variety of attacks that are on the horizon and how even bespoke packages will struggle against the quantity and variety of threats from the digital landscape in the years to come.

Even great advancements in businesses and cyber defence as a result of the Saudi Vision 2030 Initiative will struggle without those at the top of targeted organisations having a keen grasp of security and cybersecurity.

Steven Kenny continues, “I am excited about the opportunity to speak at the Security Middle East Conference in Riyadh to share my insight on how organizations can evaluate the security of their security partners.”

Steven Kenny regularly interacts with the threat landscape through his role as a Manager of the Architect and Engineering Programme at Axis Communications, on the day of the conference, he will be giving a keynote speech titled: “Is your physical security your biggest risk?”
